Potted plants are ubiquitous at every dwelling here in our country, so long as one can spare a space for them. They are a very common sight in the provinces, but not so in this concrete jungle we call Manila. Forests only cover only about 3.5 percent of the total land area of Metro Manila, compared to about more than 40% on other regions. I find these mini-gardens refreshing to my urban weary eyes, so I decided to photograph them.
